About: Eric Michael Stitt

I've been fascinated with writing since I was a youngster while dreaming of faraway places that forever inspire me to explore.

While growing up on a farm in the middle of Nebraska, there was a yearning to venture afar from prairies and cornfields of the Northern Plains. I longed to travel into vibrant cities, across majestic mountains and over vast oceans to truly experience all God has created for us.

Therefore, after graduating from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln with a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications in 2006, I moved to Los Angeles to start an exciting new chapter in life. It was along the pristine beaches of SoCal where I met my beautiful wife Aprilyn, and we continue to be blessed living the captivating South Bay lifestyle.

Upon moving to the Pacific Coast, I instantly began chasing my journalistic aspirations of being a professional writer in Los Angeles. Throughout my 20-year career, I've written countless stories about famous athletes and entertainers, legendary sporting events and iconic concerts as well as various topics from business, tourism and government. In the midst of pursuing goals professionally, traveling quickly became a passion.

We began exploring California’s sparkling coastal cities, expansive deserts and mesmerizing mountains. Weekend tent-camping adventures and boutique-hotel stays expanded into week-long trips around the world.

Routine vacations propel us toward epic travels. We explore the West Coast, the Mountain West, Hawaiian Islands, along the East Coast and around the Gulf of America. We also enjoy living in Alaska, after fulfilling a lifelong dream of owning a log cabin on the Kenai Peninsula.

Meanwhile, my periodic global journeys to fascinating cultural destinations, across nearly 20 countries and four continents thus far, allows me to achieve monumental aspirations as I strive to discover beyond the horizon.
